Overview

USGBC California
https://usgbc-ca.org/

USGBC California is a member-based, non-profit organization representing green building and sustainability professionals in California. We are passionate, practical, and informed advocates who work together to transform California’s built environment into a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable region for all. With our Net Zero Accelerator® we speed adoption of vital solutions in the built environment. The NZA focuses on piloting projects in real world, trackable implementations in our community, and with an emphasis on solutions to achieve net zero energy.

California

Growth-stage. Must have at least a commercially viable prototype, but most already have market presence outside of our region.

2019

Must have a market-ready or implemented solution and California as a high priority market. Also must be focused on the built environment and/or its infrastructure as it relates to net zero energy and carbon as well as water (which we remind our community takes energy to move and process), and waste.

We are a non-profit, with services to our companies heavily subsidized by our sponsors and members. As a benefit to our cohort members, they pay between $0 (sponsor-supported scholarship) and $3,000 for program participation. We also offer fee-based services for consulting, event development/hosting, and pilot project management.
