At SeaAhead, we are on a mission to launch new ocean-related ventures into scalable businesses. We are a community of entrepreneurs, technologists, mentors, and investors seeking solutions to the toughest challenges facing the ocean. Our partnerships allow us to break down barriers to growth and support startups with expertise, resources, and connections across a variety of bluetech sectors – from offshore renewable energy to resilient waterfronts, clean shipping, fisheries and aquaculture. We drive innovation. Our innovation challenges inspire new ideas, the BlueSwell Incubator builds companies,the Gulf Blue Navigator scales them, and the Blue Angels facilitate bluetech investment.

For the BlueSwell Incubator, we are seeking bluetech founders that are at the beginning of their innovation journey, with a focus on those that have taken in little-to-no outside capital (R&D grants are ok!). In the selection process, we will optimize for founders that have the highest likelihood to scale for broad impact.

SeaAhead is based at the Cambridge Innovation Center in the heart of Kendall Sq in Cambridge, MA. Our BlueSwell Incubator is run out of our Cambridge offices. The Gulf Blue Navigator is based in Gulfport, MS at the historic Gulf & Ship Island Building, acollaborative workspace for global blue tech innovators to call home while developing solutions for global challenges.
