Overview
The Offshore Wind Innovation Hub (OWIH) is one of several accelerators in the Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. The mission of OWIH is to catalyze startups to unleash the potential of offshore wind in New York, by creating innovative programming and fostering strong networks and collaborative partnerships. The OWIH combines a best-in-class partnership accelerator program with exclusive access to industry leaders shaping the offshore wind industry of the future. The program is fully funded by Equinor and is run with the participation of the National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium (NOWRDC) and the NYC Economic Development Corporation. Provide a solution with a Technology Readiness Level between 4-7; Actively investigate product-market fit and seek partnerships; be based anywhere in the world, but the US should be a market of considerable interest; be available for in-person interviews and the public pitch event in New York City May 17-18, if selected as a finalist; CxO/founder-level participation at all program events for a total of approximately 80 hours of time commitment over 6 months; respond promptly to inquiries from the OWIH partners if additional questions arise; complete and successfully submit the application in its entirety before the deadline; disclose the status of any intellectual property (IP) relevant to your submission.

The OWIH space is located in Industry City in Brooklyn and is comprised of co-working facilities adjacent to Equinor's office and the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal where staging, assembly, O&M and interconnection will take place.
