Overview
ACRE is the climatetech incubation program in the Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. It is the longest running climatetech incubator in New York City. ACRE offers bespoke support to help climatetech companies achieve key milestones across fundraising, corporate pilots and partnerships, and relationships with utilities and New York State and City authorities needed to scale a climatetech business in New York.

ACRE works with companies that are market ready that have also raised less than $5M in private funding. Our definition of “market ready” varies depending on the business but it often means businesses that have third party verified technology, have top-line revenue, and/or have a commercial pilot in place.
Program costs start at $450/month, no equity taken

Our office is located at 370 Jay Street in downtown Brooklyn, NY. It is an office with full co-working amenities in a community of climatetech startups.
ACRE has incubated 70 companies to date and close to 90% of them are alive and thriving today. ACRE portfolio companies have created more than 2,800 jobs and raised more than $1.65 billion dollars in private markets.
