Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator
https://www.mdeia.org

The Maryland Energy Innovation Accelerator (MEIA), an initiative of the Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC), is and early stage virtual accelerator program designed to help commercialize innovative clean energy and climate-technology products. MEIA surrounds inventors with professionals from relevant industries who are committed to bringing those inventions to market. MEIA is an innovative business creation and acceleration engine with the goal of creating new clean energy businesses in Maryland that are credible to third party investors. MEIA's services model is based on four critical success factors: 1. Strategic Partnerships 2. Energy Executives in Residence 3. Program Management 4. Professional Services Support Structured around these 4 success factors, MEIA offers three programs: Pre-Accelerator, Launchpad, and Accelerator. Each program has unique requirements and offers specific services to participants, and it is possible for one Startup to progress through each program sequentially.
