Flakk Group the Norwegian Applied Technology ASA and Devold AMT AS were merged in the year 2000 and named Hexagon Composites. Hexagon Composites provides composite cylinder technologies for CNG, RNG, LPG and hydrogen transport and storage. Hexagon contains four main division/companies: Hexagon Agility, Hexagon Ragasco, Hexagon Digital Wave and Hexagon Purus. The company is based in Norway with offices in Germany, U.S. and Canada.

Type 4 high-pressure composite cylinders
Type 4 high-pressure composite cylinders can be used for transporting hydrogen by truck. These cylinders are made of fiberglass and carbon with plastic liner.
