Climeworks technology is based on a modular equipment system that can be tailored to capture CO2 directly from the atmosphere and generate a concentrated CO2 stream. Their approach includes multiple processes that utilize different sorbent materials, depending on site-specific factors such as average relative humidity and availability of waste heat. This allows Climeworks to provide scalable solutions that are customized to meet a range of demand sizes, while optimizing the efficiency of the CO2 capture process.
