The Ario Platform

PitchDay2019

The Ario platform, built on iOS (Android version to be available late 2019) provides worksite augmented reality (AR) visualization that supports spatial documentation and maintenance/inspection procedures, and can provide workers in the field with task instructions, equipment manuals, and IoT sensor data through a mobile app with videocall capabilities that allow offsite experts to “mark”objects. The app also allows service notes to be appended to the equipment in the AR environment. The app uses QR codes (instead of GPS) to locate, recognize, and spatially orient the asset in relation to the phone/tablet position. Platform management is carried out through a web dashboard with drag-and-drop functionality for AR content, in which you can manage work instructions and authorizations, implement process improvements, and create/assign tasks. Ario also has developed VR environments to complement its AR solution. The same imagery and tagging between the two allows VR workforce training in hazardous environments and carries the AR solution into the actual environment where service is required.
