Ovo Energy is bringing its renewable energy supply business model to Chargemaster’s POLAR electric vehicle charging network. In the future, aside from allowing electric vehicles to charge exclusively with renewable energy, the project plans to ask electric vehicle users to allow their vehicle batteries to provide ancillary services to the bulk power grid, while plugged in and not in use.
