Project Summary
The Puglia Active Network is a regional smart grid application encompassing the entire Puglia region of Italy. This network seeks to combine all of the region’s distributed solar and wind generation under a new innovative control scheme and to monitor and predict load changes in order to maintain power balance in an optimal way. The project will also create and operate a region-wide electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
