The Carnegie Mellon Sustainable and Holistic Integration of Energy Storage and Solar Photovoltaic (SHINES) project seeks to develop and demonstrate a distributed agent based control system that integrates PV, energy storage, smart inverters, off-the-shelf home automation controllers and smart thermostats.
