Brixton Solar 2 was completed in October 2013, located on the five housing blocks of Styles Gardens at Loughborough Estate, with an installed capacity of 45 kW. These energy projects are led, owned and funded by Brixton Energy, a co-operative social enterprise. Some of the electricity generated from the solar panels is used by Loughborough Estate Management Board (LEMB) directly to power the communal spaces in Styles Gardens. The remainder of electricity generated by the project is exported to the National Grid.
