Overview

Project Summary

Żywiecka Energia Przyszłości is an energy cluster that was formed by signing a civic-legal contract between 20 public and private entities. It is a public-private network of cooperation whose main objectives are the energy independence of the Żywiec Region, limiting low emissions to a level that is safe for health, with a sustainable economy in terms of the environment. The group also includes distribution activities with a distribution network of less than 110 kV and balancing demand. The activities conducted by Żywiecka Energia Przyszłości include generation from renewable electicity (i.e. Bioenergy CHP plants, solar heat collectors, solar PV system, hydropower), implementing projects in the field of electromobility, improving energy efficiency in public resources, the enterprise sector, local communities and residents.
